OverBoard Coffee is a locally owned and operated shop serving our friends and neighbors in Lakewood, Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Independence and the Kansas City metro.
We have fresh baked pastries and more! Stop by for the classic cinnamon roll, muffins, danish, turnover, bagel, or a breakfast sandwich. And while you’re here, try a cup of freshly roasted coffee. We’re proud to serve only the best coffees from a local KC favorite, Messenger. We’re all about the good vibes at OverBoard and true to our name, we’ll always deliver a little extra.

Jennifer Gamble
Jennifer is a lifelong Kansas City area resident—growing up north of the river and relocating to Lee’s Summit in 1993.
Jennifer graduated from Missouri State University and after working for advertising agencies and Starlight Theatre, she started an event planning company. Jennifer has produced more than 500 events in over 60 cities around the country.
She has an entrepreneurial spirit, and when she realized the need for a coffee shop in the Lakewood area, OverBoard Coffee was born.
Jennifer lives in northeast Lee’s Summit with her husband, Brad, step-sons Austin and Colton and twin Siberian huskies, Cody and Jackson. She enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, spectator sports (Chiefs, Royals and Tigers), socializing and making new friends!
